What types of wood are used? Usually pine, beech and ash − but will work with most woods.
How many spirals? Normal 3 − 4 with more on larger diameter pieces.
How long can a spiral be? Depends on diameter of item, the smaller the diameter the more fragile it becomes limiting the spiral length. Need about 2” − 3” at the ends of piece for stability.
Reverse spirals? Yes, we can make reverse spirals to make matching sets
Pitch of spirals? Easily changed usually call slow, medium and fast, but the number of inches per spiral may be specified.
Solid wood or laminate? Basically we are using laminates due to its inherent strength and limited warpage
Colors − stained or natural? To avoid confusion when dealing with colors we do not stain the pieces. We only ship natural finishes that can then be stained on site.
Where do you ship to? Presently concentrating on North America? We hope to expand our reach worldwide.
Standardized items? Presently there is no standard items, everything is custom ordered to meet individual requirements.
Maximum size? The post size is presently limited to 60” long and 12” in diameter.
Minimum size? The smallest is 1” in diameter with the spiral length restricted approximately 12”.
What can they be used for? Newel posts, spindles, coffee tables, end tables, table legs, supports, pool cues, lamps, candle holders, plant stands, decorative spacers etc.
Can it replace existing posts renovations? Yes, they can be inserted into existing stairways and balustrades etc.

Why laminate and not solid woods? Laminates are stronger that solid wood and resists warpage and cracking better than solids.
Strength? Laminates are stronger than solids and the actual usage will dictate if the piece will be strong enough to use.
Cleaning? Easiest way to clean is the feather duster type “Swiffer” or by using a can of compressed air.
Where are they made? In Europe, Poland specifically approximately 1 hour from Warsaw.

Can they be cut in half? Yes, can be cut to make corner post or when meeting walls.
Kiln dried? Yes, to >10%
Resin glues? Extremely strong bond between laminates.
How are they made? Neither CNC nor computer controlled. Lathe turned and milled at same time.
Small production? Due to the complexity, skill and experience required to turn, these items will never be mass produced, therefore will always remain a unique eye catcher.
How unique are they? As each piece is custom designed by the consumer each piece will be unique to that person’s needs and requirements.
How many years in business/production? Have been working with wood and turning out unusual/different pieces for over 25 years.
What about Warranty? 1 year against manufacturers defect.
What is the difference from the competition? We turn our product from one solid piece of laminated wood this reduces the possibility of shrinkage and/or poorly fitted parts. Others separately construct up to four different pieces in order to make one post.
What about Pricing? As compared to competitors is wholesale to the public.
